Illinois State University has adopted the ResponseCard RF Remote hardware (Clickers) as a classroom student response system. The system allows instructors to actively engage students in class by asking questions during the lecture that can be counted for polling purposes. How exactly it is used in a class is up to the instructor for your course.
To make your classroom click response count, please register your unique clicker ID. This ID will be made available to your instructor. To register your device:
This should only be necessary to do this for one course for that device to be registered in all ReggieNet courses.
TurningPoint is offering rebates to Illinois State students who purchase clickers products for the 2016-2017 academic year. Students will need to use a rebate code when they mail their proof of purchase. See the links below.
Students should check with their instructor or the campus bookstores to make sure they are purchasing the correct bundle. For example, some instructors may require students to purchase a bundle that includes the RF LCD response device (and not just a license).
Students can purchase clickers and subscriptions from the campus bookstores or directly from TurningPoint through the TurningPoint link in their ReggieNet course site.
Students should contact TechZone for hardware support issues with their clickers. Students who need assistance with their subscription should contact TurningPoint at 1-866-746-3015.
