The University Teaching Committee (UTC) is an advisory committee to the Provost on university-wide teaching-related matters and selects the Outstanding University Teacher Awards annually. Members, who are former teaching award winners themselves, represent every college and several other campus units.

University Assessment Services’ (UAS) staff works exclusively in the area of student learning outcomes assessment. In addition to conducting institution-wide projects at multiple points of students’ academic and co-curricular experiences, the staff is available as consultants and co-researchers on class, department/school, and unit assessment projects. University Assessment Services also functions as a central location where assessment-related information can be found.
The American Democracy Project (ADP) at ISU is a cooperative effort by students, faculty, staff, and administration. The goal of the Project is to promote civic engagement, in many different forms, on the part of undergraduates, now and in the future.
