Is your course accessible to all your students? Or, do you inadvertently create a learning environment that favors abled learners? This learning community is designed to aid participants in evaluating accessibility, including content, in their courses. As the learning community is geared toward evaluating and redesigning one's already designed courses for diverse ability, this information can be used in all subject areas, including those courses that center on serving diverse ability.
Participants will engage in this learning community through a combination of synchronous meetings via Zoom (May 27, June 17, July 29) and asynchronous activities through ReggieNet.
A $300 stipend is available to eligible participants who complete the program. Registration is required by Tuesday, May 12.
